Exteria Street and Park Outfitters worked with Jaxon Construction to manufacture and supply composite outdoor furniture for BHP Billiton’s Pretty Pool Apartments which serve as accommodation for their Port Hedland employees. The composite outdoor furniture included custom designed shade structures and bench seats, successfully incorporating sustainable material suitable for the cyclonic region.

Exteria adapted the architectural concept designs for the outdoor furniture to work as a kit form assembly, which was delivered to site in Port Hedland, ready for construction. The composite outdoor furniture design integrated Modwood wood and plastic composite slats with the strength of structural steel to provide a cyclone rated product.
All delivered in a kit form package for ease of installation by our client.
Jaxon Construction’s Pretty Pool Apartments Project required outdoor furniture which could endure heavy use by BHP employees and harsh cyclonic weather conditions whilst remaining cool and comfortable in the direct sunlight. Exteria’s experience with regional Western Australian projects and composite outdoor furniture construction provided our client with the confidence that we could deliver what was required for the Pretty Pool Project.
Exteria has local engineers and designers on hand to assist with customising street and outdoor furniture.
