Exteria Street and Park Outfitters manufactured, supplied and installed steel park shelters and outdoor street furniture at Carawatha Parkland for the City of Melville.
The primary objective of Carawatha Parkland Project was to create a playscape that connected people with the outdoor environment and accommodated all age groups. This called for our public outdoor furniture to be modified, to suit the different height requirements of children and adults. Wood plastic composite with a natural wood grain effect was selected for the furniture slat material. Careful attention throughout the design phase of the project resulted in the use of functional public furniture which promotes interaction with the space.
Exteria managed a redesign of existing products with custom features to suit Carawatha Park’s family friendly environment. Working directly with the City of Melville’s Landscape Architect, Zoe Williamson, Exteria detailed a complete outdoor park furniture solution by adapting the park seats, table settings and public bin designs to match the theme and application. In addition to the custom designed composite park furniture, Exteria also provided Driftwood Park Shelters and a Torrent Drink Fountain with rear tap to provide a total solution.
Exteria’s experience with public outdoor furniture and our presence in WA, ensured our client had confidence that we had the know-how to deliver what was required for the Carawatha Parkland Project.
We know that no community or public space is ever the same. That’s why we have the most extensive range of urban street and park furniture to choose from. Everything you need to outfit any outdoor space is available from Exteria.
